New Delhi: There have been 3,200 ceasefire violations with Pakistan this year on the border. This is the largest ceasefire figure in the last 15 years. Tensions have been seen between the two countries since the attack on the CRPF convoy in Pulwama, Jammu, and Kashmir and the removal of Section 370. Not only this, the use of artillery guns and anti-tank missiles have also been seen by the armies of both countries during the ceasefire violation incidents.

A senior official said, 'There have been incidents of ceasefire violations in almost every area of the 778 km LOC border. Cases of ceasefire violations have increased, particularly in Akhnoor, Poonch, Uri, and Kieran sectors. There has been loss on both sides in these incidents. On December 25, one of our JCOs martyred in the ceasefire violation in Rampur, while two soldiers of Pakistan were killed.

Not only this, the Indian Army had given a befitting reply on Thursday after the ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Poonch-Rajouri sectors. In this incident, too many Pakistani soldiers died. However, these cannot be confirmed. Incidents of ceasefire violations have increased especially since the Government of India removed Section 370 from Jammu and Kashmir and divided the state into two union territories.
