New Delhi: There have been 3,200 ceasefire violations with Pakistan this year on the border. This is the largest ceasefire figure in the last 15 years. Tensions have been seen between the two countries since the attack on the CRPF convoy in Pulwama, Jammu, and Kashmir and the removal of Section 370. A senior official said, 'There have been incidents of ceasefire violations in almost every area of the 778 km LOC border. Cases of ceasefire violations have increased, particularly in Akhnoor, Poonch, Uri, and Kieran sectors. There has been loss on both sides in these incidents. On December 25, one of our JCOs martyred in the ceasefire violation in Rampur, while two soldiers of Pakistan were killed.
