SRINAGAR: Pakistan on Friday again violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control in Jammu and Kashmir and tried to target Indian military posts and residential areas. In response, Indian security forces responded to Pakistan in the same language. The exchange of fire lasted for a long time.

Pakistan resorted to firing with small arms at 8 a.m. in Mankot sector of Poonch district, Krishna Ghati sector and Naushera in Rajouri district without any provocation.
