Srinagar: The Pakistan Army once again breached a ceasefire near the Line of Control in Poonch district on Sunday morning. During this time, the Pakistan Army opened heavy fire in the Medhar and Krishnaghati sectors. The Indian Army gave a befitting reply to Pakistan's nefarious act. Pakistan's army has opened heavy fire by targeting Indian outposts and residential areas located in Medhar and Krishnaghati sectors.

Indian jawans also retaliated by retaliatory firing. At present, no damage has been reported in this firing. The intermittent firing from both sides continues till the news is written. Giving information, an army official has said that India has killed two Pakistani soldiers shelling the Line of Control (LoC) from the Union Territory of Jammu to Kashmir in retaliation.

Apart from this, three Pakistani posts and a launching pad of terrorists (Jaish) in Dudhaniyal and Athmukam in North Kashmir have suffered heavy damage. Tension has been brewing in the border area due to shelling from both sides. The Pakistani army is using mortar and artillery. The military administration has directed all officers posted on the LoC to be fully operational in operational mode.
