Islamabad: Pakistan has again violated ceasefire in the Karen and Rampur sectors of Jammu and Kashmir. Pakistan violated the ceasefire on Sunday morning at 11 and 12:40 without any provocation. The Indian Army also gave a befitting reply to Pakistan. The Pakistani army also fired heavy mortars in Uri sector of Baramulla district of North Kashmir.

An encounter between militants and security forces also took place on Sunday in Reben area of Shopian district of south Kashmir. The police, army and CRPF conducted a joint operation and started a search operation by sieging the Reben area. This is not the first time, even before this Pakistan has shown similar cowardly misdeeds. On Thursday, Havildar Mathiazhagan P. was shot in the firing by the Pakistani Army and he was injured. Havildar was admitted to the Army Hospital for treatment, where he died on Friday. Havildar Mathia was from Salem district of Tamil Nadu.
