On Saturday, Senior Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) leader Indresh Kumar said that Pakistan will be merged with India after the year 2025. Indresh Kumar made the statement while addressing a gathering on "Kashmir-Way Ahead". He said "Aap likhkar lijiye 5-7 saal bad aap kahin Karachi, Lahore, Rawalpindi, Sialkot mein makan kharidenge aur business karne ka mauka milega (You can take it in written that after five-seven years, you will get a chance to buy a house or do business in Lahore, Karachi, Rawalpindi)".

He Further added that, "There was no Pakistan before 1947. People say it was a part of Hindustan [India] before 1945. It will again be a part of Hindustan after 2025." He also hoped for an "Akhand Bharat". The supporters of Akhand Bharat call for the unification of India, Pakistan and Bangladesh along with Bhutan, Nepal, Afghanistan and Burma. Indresh Kumar, however, did not elaborate on how Pakistan will be merged with India.

He further said that it was for the first time that the Indian government took a tough line on the Kashmir issue and that's because the Army acts on the political willpower. He said "Ab willpower politically change ho gayi. Isliye hum ye sapne leke baithe hain ki Lahore jaa kar baithenge aur Kailash Mansarovar ke liye ijajat China se nahin leni padegi. Dhaka mein hamne apne haath ki sarkaar banayi hai. [Now the political willpower has changed. That's why we have dreams to settle in Lahore and not needing any permission from China to go to the Kailash Mansarovar. We have ensured a government in Dhaka of our liking]".

Here it is worth mentioning that the RSS leader said, "Ek European Union jaisa Bhartiya Union of Akhand Bharat janma lene ke raste par ja sakta hai [An undivided India on the lines of European Union might take shape]." He also said that China has been supporting Pakistan because it wants to capture it and has been angry because India defeated it in Doklam.
