Bhopal: On Friday, the Election Commissioner of Madhya Pradesh Basant Pratap Singh announced the dates of Panchayat elections. Panchayat elections will be held in three phases. The first phase will be on June 25, the second phase on July 1 and the third phase on July 8. The elections for which the counting of votes is to be held at the block headquarters will be held in the first phase on 28 June, the second phase on 4 July and the third phase on 11 July. The results of the election of Panch, Sarpanch, members of Janpad Panchayat will be declared on July 14 and the results of the election of Zilla Panchayat members will be declared on July 15.

The same State Election Commissioner Basant Pratap Singh said in the press conference that on May 30, DMs of all the districts would publish the election information. Enrollment will start. The elections will be held in three phases. The last date for submission of nominations will be June 6. The nomination papers will be reviewed on June 7. Nominations will be withdrawn till 3 pm on June 10. Thereafter, allotment of symbols will take place. Elections will be held in one phase in 5 districts. Elections will be held in two phases in 8 districts. Elections will be held in three phases in 39 districts. On July 14, the results of the elections of Panch, Sarpanch, members of Janpad Panchayat will be held at the Block Headquarters. Similarly, the results of Zilla Panchayat members will be declared on July 15.

In the first phase, there are 115 Janpad Panchayats, in which 8,702 Gram Panchayats are covered. There are 27,049 polling stations in this phase.
There are 106 Janpad Panchayats in the second phase, in which 7,661 Gram Panchayats will come. There are 23,988 polling stations in this phase.
There are 92 Janpad Panchayats in the third phase, in which 6,649 Gram Panchayats will come. There are 20,606 polling stations in this phase.
