Today, on 27 December, Panchi Bora is celebrating its birthday. Panchi Bora is an Indian television actress and model of Assam. Before playing in the Telugu film industry, she played the lead roles in Kayanat and Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi. Panchi Bora is originally from Assam. Her father is a retired military officer who settled in Pune after her retirement. She wanted to become a lawyer and attended ILS Law College, Pune.

During her first year in college, she appeared in advertisements and television commercials. She worked with her mother in an advertisement for Tata Indicom and got a break in a Cadbury advertisement. Balaji Telefilms chief Ekta Kapoor saw the advertisement and asked her to audition for Kitni Mast Hai Zindagi which was the first show to be aired on MTV.

In this show, she played the role of a radio jockey, Ananya Puri, who is one of the main leads in the series. After so much happiness, she took a break and decided to complete her graduation. She left her law studies and enrolled in a college in Pune, where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree. Ekta Kapoor again approached her for a role in Balaji Telefilms' series Qayamat. Bora said that initially she was not interested in the role but after Ekta Kapoor told her the script, she found it interesting. She played the role of Prachi in Kayanat which was liked by the audience a lot.
