'Pandemic has weakened, celebrate Mahashivratri with pomp': CM Shivraj Singh

Bhopal: MP CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Saturday asked the public to celebrate the upcoming Mahashivratri and Holi festival with pomp and gaiety. He said that now the corona infection is becoming weaker. CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan was addressing a programme in Burhi Barlai village to launch a campaign to give crop insurance documents to farmers. 

According to the report, CM Shivraj Singh Chouhan said that the public should burn lamps and worship on Mahashivratri, which is celebrated on March 1. Chouhan also said that the corona infection is weakening, so celebrate Rang Panchami with great enthusiasm. In Indore, a traditional procession is taken out on Rang Panchami, in which thousands of people participate, organize it.

According to the report, 500 cases of the corona were reported in MP on Saturday. There, one corona positive patient died. The corona positivity rate in the state is 0.7 per cent. At present, the number of active cases of Corona in the state is 4,328. Mp's corona-affected cities of Bhopal and Indore recorded 114 and 29 cases respectively in the last 24 hours.
