Ingredients for making Paneer Makhani biryani-
Basmati rice boiled – 3 cups
Paneer – 1/2 kg
Cream – 1/2 cup
Cashew paste – 1 cup
Onions finely chopped – 1 cup
Fried flakes of onions – 1 cup
Ghee – 4 tbsp
Almonds – 8-10
Butter – 2 tbsp
Tomato puree – 1 cup
Green chili chopped – 3-4
Garlic bud – 5-6
Ginger finely chopped – 1 tbsp
Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
Turmeric – 1 tsp
Mint leaves – 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves chopped – 3 tbsp
Cardamom powder – 1/2 tsp
Cinnamon – 2 pieces
Tandoori Masala – 1 tbsp
Large cardamom – 4
Cloves – 5-6
Green cardamom – 8-9
Black pepper powder – 1/4 tsp
Salt – to taste
Recipe for making Paneer Makhani biryani - To make Paneer Makhani, first of all, take the cheese and cut it into small square pieces. Now add ghee to a pan and heat it on medium flame. When the ghee is hot and melts, add the pieces of cheese in it and fry them till their colour is golden. After this, remove the pieces of cheese in a plate and place them. Now add large cardamom, green cardamom, cloves, cinnamon, and black pepper to the remaining ghee and fry all these spices while lasting for about 30 seconds. After that, add finely chopped onions, garlic, ginger and chopped green chillies to the spices and mix well and fry all of them for 2-3 minutes until the colour of the onion turns golden. Now add coriander powder, turmeric, and tandoori masala and mix well. Then add tomato puree to it and fry for 5 minutes with the help of a curry. After this, add cashew paste, cream and salt to taste.
After that, when the mixture is well cooked and the oil starts to leave, add the fried cheese to it and cook for another 5-6 minutes. Then turn off the gas. Now take a large pot and put it on the gas on a low flame. First, lay the third layer of rice in the pot. After this, lay half of the prepared cheese mixture on top of the rice. After this, once again lay one-third of the rice on top of the mixture and then lay the rest of the cheese mixture on top of the rice by making a layer. Finally, make the remaining rice layer on top. Now add the already fried onions, mint leaves and coriander leaves on top of the rice and spread it. After that cover the pot with a plate or with foil paper and cook on a low flame for at least 10 to 15 minutes. Then turn off the gas flame. Take Paneer Makhani Biryani is ready.
