New Delhi: One of the most fierce wars in history, the third war of Panipat could not produce much effect on the screen, due to which Ashutosh Gowariker's film 'Panipat' did not make the collection in the first week as expected. Meanwhile, the producers have reduced the length of the film and released it again from today (Friday).
In this film also Indian Jambazas were shown fighting with the Afghan invaders. Panipat is the second war film of 2019 after Kesari, which depicts the story of war between Marathas and Afghan Sultan Ahmed Shah Abdali. Released in theaters on December 6, the film's first week collection was not good. The film earned only 4.12 crores on the first day. Panipat's earnings increased slightly on Saturday and Sunday and the film collected 5.78 crores and 7.78 crores.
On Working Week, the film grossed 2.59 crores on Monday, while on Tuesday it earned 2.21 crores. On Wednesday, the film has collected only 1.70 crores. On Thursday, the film's report was worse. Trade experts estimate that on Thursday, on the seventh day of release, Panipat has been able to earn only about one crore, although the official figures have not come yet.
