Monday, Bollywood veteran actor and BJP MP Paresh Rawal was fined Rs.2,000 for breaking the odd-even traffic scheme here. The actor was challaned in the morning for travelling in an even-numbered car (DL9C AE1914) while going to parliament.

Later, Mr. Paresh apologized saying "Made a serious blunder... Sorry Arvindji and Delhiites."

The BJP MP not only paid the fine but posted the challan receipt on his Twitter handle. "Made a serious blunder... Sorry to Arvindji and Delhiites," he tweeted, referring to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal.

Rawal was in his personal car with an even number plate. Monday being April 25, only vehicles with odd number plates were allowed to ply on the roads in the national capital.
