Many Bollywood actors have gone into depression after their breakup and have come out of it after a long time. She makes self-disclosures about it, which is not easy to talk about. There are very few actors who talk about it. Some time ago, Deepika Padukone has also spoken on it and now Parineeti Chopra has spoken openly about it. In a recent interview, Parineeti Chopra said that 2015 was bad for her, which she has made many revelations.

In 2015, Parineeti's film 'Kil Dil' and 'Dawat-e-Ishq' flopped. She said, "I suddenly had run out of money. During that time I invested in a house. I had gone through a very bad phase of my life during that time. Everything in my life seemed to fall downwards and I had nothing positive to move forward and see in my life. During that time I stopped eating and slept the whole time. I had no friends at that time, even all my family contacts were over," she said.

"I spoke to them only once in two weeks during that time. I just lived in my room, watched TV and slept. I was almost depressed. I had not met the media for about six months," she said, "At that time, my brother Sahaja and my friend Sanjana had supported me a lot. I used to cry about 10 times a day and was depressed. However, things began to change a bit as early as 2016. I started working on myself and signed films like 'Golmaal 4' and 'Meri Pyaari  Bindu' the same year.

Parineeti currently has a few films she's working on and a film is going to be released soon. Parineeti has started shooting a remake Hindi the American film 'Girl on the Train'. The director of this untitled film is Ribhu Dasgupta.
