New Delhi [India], July 18 (NT): On the first day of Parliament Monsoon session, Samajwadi Party and Telugu Desam Party MPs staged protest in the well of the House in Lok Sabha over different issues such as mob lynching cases and demand for special status for Andhra Pradesh following which the Rajya Sabha(Upper house) has adjourned till 12 PM by vice chairman Vainkaya Naidu.

 After resuming the process of Parliament following adjournment, Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan accepts the No Confidence Motion moved by opposition parties, including Congress and TDP.

Congress MP Jyotiraditya Scindia said that in Lok Sabha that The govt which led farmers to commit suicide, under whose regime women are being raped every day. He threatened that his party move no-confidence motion against Modi led BJP.

RS has adjourned after the protest by TDP MPs over special status demand for Andhra Pradesh.

Earlier Prime Minister Narendra Modi requested all the political leaders to agree to the session function smoothly.

The Prime Minister stated that the Centre is all set to argue all the issues that all the parties will have in Parliament.

"I hope the Monsoon Session is a productive one and the time is properly utilised to discuss important matters. May the productivity of the forthcoming session and the rich levels of the debate also become a source of inspiration for the various state assemblies. Any member, any party can raise any issue, we are all ready for proper discussions," Prime Minister Narendra Modi was quoted by ANI as saying when he told media reporters here.

The monsoon session will conclude on August 10. It will have 18 sittings amid much-anticipated drama in both the houses - Rajya Sabha and Lok Sabha.
