Noted Malayalam cinema actress Parvathy Thiruvoth is set to make her directorial debut soon, with work on the film reportedly to begin by July this year and an official announcement may be made soon. The actress is going to America for a two-month filmmaking course. It is said that to pursue her passion, the actress is also chosen from three films.

Also on the work front, Parvathy has collaborated with film-maker Siddharth Shiva for an upcoming film 'Varthamanam', which is mainly shot in North India. The film also stars Roshan Mathew and Dan Davis. Along with this, Parvathy's Sivaranjiniyum Inum Silla Pengalam 'in which she acts has completed the rounds of film festivals and may be released in theaters soon.

Parvathy recently completed the shoot of Ach Rachiyamma as a segment directed by Venu, which is part of an anthology. Along with this, she will also appear in a cameo role in 'Halal Love Story' directed by Zakaria. The actress is also one of the founding members of the Women in Cinema Collective, an association formed in February 2017 in the wake of the kidnapping and sexual harassment of an actress.
