RT-PCR report no longer required for passengers coming to Mumbai

Mumbai: Good news for passengers coming to Mumbai in Maharashtra. In fact, it is no longer necessary to bring an RT-PCR report when anybody comes to Mumbai by air from any part of Maharashtra. An order has been issued last Monday in which the BMC has informed about this. In fact, the BMC issued an order last Monday stating, "From now on, mumbai airport authority and airlines cannot ask passengers to undergo RT-PCR test".

In addition, the BMC also said, "The order is being implemented with immediate effect. Let us also tell you that RT-PCR shows that any person is corona positive. In fact, as per the new guidelines issued by the BMC last Monday, it is not mandatory for all domestic passengers, who are coming to Mumbai by air from any place in Maharashtra, to undergo RT-PCR test. Further, the guidelines also stated that all domestic air passengers are not required to undergo RT-PCR test on air travel from Mumbai to any corner of Maharashtra.

Let us also tell all of you that the daily cases of corona virus are decreasing in Maharashtra, but still the Government has been strict here. Last May, there was an order stating that all domestic air passengers were required to bring a negative report of corona.
