Rishikesh: Popular Yoga guru Ramdev's close aide Balkrishna who is known for suggesting remedies to cure diseases is now admitted to the All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) on Friday.

Patanjali CEO Balkrishna was first taken to a hospital in Haridwar after he complained of giddiness and chest pain, sources at the Patanjali Yogpeeth said. However, the doctors there referred him to the AIIMS in Rishikesh.

According to an AIIMS official, Balkrishna was being examined by doctors in the Emergency ward. 

Let us tell you that according to the data released in February this year, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of FMCG company Patanjali Balkrishna is now among the top 10 rich in the country. His wealth has increased by 320 percent. Balkrishna was ranked 25th last year while this time he has reached 8th position. His wealth has increased by 173 percent to Rs 70 thousand crore. In the last financial year, Patanjali's business reached Rs 10,561 crore. It is competing with many foreign brands.
