Shah Rukh Khan,  Deepika Padukone, and John Abraham’s Pathaan is one of the most awaited films of the year. On the one hand, the whole Beshram Rang controversy over a saffron color bikini started its boycott trends. Meanwhile, on the other hand, the fans of  SRK are very excited for the films and it is evident by its advance Booking.

According to the reports, Pathaan’s advance booking is very good in other countries, As per the information it sold 3500 tickets, amounting to $50K in the UAE, for the opening day. This suggests that has the potential to beat Raees in this market which collected $350,00 in 2017. In Australia, Pathan has sold 3,000 tickets, amounting to A$65,000, for the first day.

Meanwhile, In Germany, 8500 tickets have been sold for the five-day opening weekend. As many as 4000 of these are for the opening day. The total collection is around â25,000 while Dilwale holds the record 142,988 for the biggest opening weekend for a mainstream Bollywood film in Germany.

The film recently received a U/A certificate after being ordered as many as 10 cuts, including several changes in the controversial Besharam Rang song. The runtime of Pathaan is 146 minutes (2 hours and 26 minutes). The changes ordered by the CBFC include certain words being replaced. The word ‘RAW’ will be changed ‘Humare’, ‘Langde Lulle’ will be swapped with ‘Toote Foote’, and ‘PMO will be replaced with ‘President/Minister’ in 13 places. Other edited words include ‘Mrs Bharatmata’, ‘Ashok Chakra’, ‘Scotch’, and, ‘KFB’. A reference to Russia has also been removed.

Speaking of the Pathaan, it marks Shah Rukh Khan’s return to the big screen in over four years. The action thriller also stars John Abraham and is directed by Siddharth Aanand. The film is scheduled to be released in theatres on January 25, 2023. It will be released in Tamil and Telugu dubbed versions apart from Hindi.
