Mumbai: Varsha Raut, wife of senior Shiv Sena leader and Rajya Sabha MP Sanjay Raut, has reached the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in the Patra Chawl scam case located at Ballard Pier, Fort in Mumbai. The ED alleges that Varsha Raut has done financial transactions with an unknown person. It is being told that ED can interrogate Varsha Raut by sitting face to face with Sanjay Raut today. 

Let us inform you that the ED has summoned Sanjay Raut's wife Varsha Raut for questioning today by sending summons in the Patra Chawl scam case of 1,034 crores. Along with Varsha Raut, Sanjay Raut's brother Sunil Raut and his daughter Urvashi are also present. In the Patra Chawl scam case, the PMLA court has sent Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut to ED custody till August 8. Along with Raut, Varsha Raut was also summoned by the ED and summoned to the ED office for questioning on August 6, i.e. at 11 am today. For this inquiry, Varsha Raut has reached the ED office.

The investigation agency alleges that transactions of more than 1 crore 8 lakh have taken place in the bank account of Varsha Raut from the accounts of unknown persons. who is that person? ED has to get information about this. The ED alleges that there have been many suspicious transactions from Varsha Raut's bank account. The ED had claimed in the court that out of Rs 112 crore earned by Praveen Raut from the Patra Chawl scam, Rs 1 crore 6 lakh came into the bank accounts of Sanjay Raut and Varsha Raut.

With this money, Varsha Raut bought a flat in Dadar. When ED started an investigation, Varsha Raut showed that money as a loan and transferred Rs 55 lakh to Praveen Raut's wife Madhuri's account. Apart from this, another alleged partner of Sanjay Raut, Sujit Patkar's wife Swapna Patkar and Varsha Raut together bought a property in Alibaug. The ED alleges that in this way many suspicious transactions worth crores of rupees have taken place in the account of Varsha Raut, which has to be questioned.
