Pawan and Rana's confrontation scene in "Bheemla Nayak" has generated controversy

A scene from 'Bheemla Nayak' in which Rana Daggubati and Pawan Kalyan spar, followed by a high-octane action sequence, has offended the Kummari and Shalivahana groups in Andhra Pradesh. A complaint has been filed against the makers of 'Bheemla Nayak.'

Rana Daggubati and Pawan Kalyan lock horns in a fight scene from 'Bheemla Nayak.' Rana is seen smashing off a pot-wheel as he charges towards Pawan Kalyan. The tribes whose traditional occupation is pottery appear to have raised their voices in protest of this act in the film.

Purushotham, the corporation chairman of both communities in Guntur, says that the scene has affected their livelihood, and he has asked that it be deleted from the film."Our livelihood is the pottery wheel, which we adore every day. Rana kicking the wheel caused us great pain, and it is a symbol of pride for us. We have strong objections to the scene, and it should be removed immediately "Purushotham added.

The film's makers have yet to reply to the allegations. 'Bheemla Nayak,' directed by Sagar K Chandra, was launched last Friday to a positive response from fans and moviegoers.
