Google has removed the Paytm app from the Google Play Store on Friday. This is shocking news which is fast becoming viral at the moment. Google says that it does not support any gambling gaming app. Google has taken this action on Paytm only because of the violation of its policies. According to the information received, Paytm and UPI has been developed by App One97 Communication Ltd. and now it is not available on Google Play Store. But apps already installed in Android smartphones are working.

Apart from Paytm payment app, other apps of the company- Paytm for business, Paytm money, Paytm mall etc. are still available on Google Play Store but Paytm payment app has been removed. Talking about Google, it has written in its blog, "We do not allow online casinos. We do not support any such app that takes a consumer to another website. If an app takes a customer to a website where they can participate in a tournament to win cash prizes, Google does not allow any app to do this and doing so is a violation of Google policies".

Suzanne Frey, vice president of Google, wrote that "We do not allow online casinos or endorse any unregulated gambling apps that offer sports betting." Paytm has also responded to this. Paytm has tweeted that "Paytm app is temporarily unavailable on Google's Play Store to download or update. It will be back very soon. All your money is completely safe and people who have already downloaded the Paytm app can use their Paytm app as usual".
