As per the party sources said, “Nirmal Khatri,the PCC chief of Uttar Pardesh has resigned but the party high command has so far not taken any decision”
Added, “the party was looking for a new PCC chief for the state especially from the Brahmin community ahead of the Assembly polls scheduled for early next year.”
Ghulam Nabi Azad, the newly-appointed AICC General Secretary had pointed to that the change in the PCC was on the cards.
