New Delhi: The term of four MPs of the Upper House of Parliament ends today. It includes Ghulam Nabi Azad and Shamsher Singh Dhulo of Congress, Mir Mohammad Fayaz of PDP and Nazir Ahmad Lave. In his farewell address, PDP MP Mir Mohammad Fayaz praised the Ujjwala scheme of the Center.

Fayaz said that earlier our women used to bring wood from the forest and today there is gas in their homes. He also demanded that special status be given back to Jammu and Kashmir. Mir Mohammad Fayaz further said, "Working in the Rajya Sabha was a great experience. We got a lot of learning in it, we worked for our country. Raised the flag of the country. Sadness comes when someone calls us a traitor, We are unable to bear that, all the mainstream political parties have made mistakes from them."

Fayaz said that when the decision was taken in relation to Jammu and Kashmir, we have implemented what PM Modi said at that time, today our PM spoke about the election, then people came out there, should say what happened. He said that earlier we used to get five lakh rupees in a year. Today, when I ask people, they say they got five crores, they should say what happened. Till yesterday our women used to cook food by bringing wood from the forest and today there is gas in their homes too. "
