In addition to setting fire to several buses, the protesters set fire to railway stations, put furniture on the track, ransacked and looted ticket counters, burned the four empty trains and the engine of the goods train.

For information, let us tell you that in order to save lives, railway employees ran away from the stations. Therefore, more than 40 EMU and express trains were cancelled. Seven trains were terminated on the way. At the same time, five trains were diverted. On the other hand, Jamia Millia Islamia in New Delhi has been discharged till January 5 and all examinations have been postponed.

According to information received from sources, the police had to lathicharge in Murshidabad district. Burning tires in Howrah and Domjur Bagnan blocked roads and set fire to many shops. The protesters also blocked tires in Magram in Birbhum district by burning tires.
