As Imran Khan's problems intensify, the Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) has ordered the declassification of all relevant documents related to the governing Pakistan Tehreek-i-foreign Insaf's financing case.

The report suggests that the documents were part of the ECP scrutiny committee report, which was issued a few weeks ago but had been kept secret and were not shared with the report when it was made public. All of the documents sought by the ECP through the state of Pakistan in its letter of July 3, 2018 will be made public.

The order was issued by Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Sikander Sultan Raja on Tuesday after the petitioner's attorney claimed that some crucial elements of the report had been kept secret and that his client was being denied access to them. The CEC ordered that no part of the report be kept private and that the petitioner get the whole report.
