Mumbai: NDA allies are also pleading after the opposition demanded an inquiry into the Pegasus espionage case. In fact, Bihar chief minister Nitish Kumar has demanded an inquiry into the matter and now it has been supported by Shiv Sena, a former NDA ally. He described CM Nitish as an ideal leader. Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut recently supported CM Nitish's demand for an inquiry into the Pegasus case and said, "I am grateful to Nitish Kumar. He has always been an ideal leader. Today he is with the government but his soul is with us, I know."

Not only that, the Shiv Sena MP also said, "If he is saying that the 'Pegasus' issue should be investigated, he has said what the Opposition is saying. Modiji should at least listen now. Earlier the opposition was unitedly questioning the government over the Pegasus espionage controversy, and now allies are also targeting the Modi government." Recently, on the Pegasus espionage case, CM Nitish Kumar had said, "The Pegasus case must be investigated. The whole matter can be investigated carefully. The right steps should be taken only after investigation. Some people in Parliament are forgetting what has happened, what has not happened. There are constant reports in the newspapers. There should be an inquiry into how people are listening to someone, capturing it.''

He also said, "There should be a debate and an inquiry into the Pegasus espionage case in Parliament. When people have been raising the issue in Parliament for so long, it should be investigated, which will bring out the truth. If someone is trying to harass anyone, there must be an inquiry."
