Bengaluru: The owner of UDP Pejavar Math, Mr. Vishwesh Tirth Swami has passed away. Shri Vishvesh TirthaSwami, known as Pejawar Swami, was 88 years old. He was in poor health for the last few days and his treatment was going on at the MC Manipal Hospital. There was no improvement in his condition and the situation was serious but stable. As per Swami's wish, he was brought back to the monastery on Sunday morning where he breathed his last.

Former President Pranab Mukherjee met Pejavar Swami, especially when he reached Udupi for a visit in the last phase of his presidency.
