Chandigarh: In today's time, the illegal liquor business in Haryana is not new. Poisonous liquor made illegally in bottling plant is killing people continuously in the state for 40 years. People died after consuming cheap liquor. There is no degree of this liquor made in the kiln, and no expiry date is anticipated, due to which liquor is becoming more deadly for people.
According to the information, 40 people lost their lives in Narwana in Jind district in 1980 for the first time from poisonous liquor in Haryana. The sequence of deaths started at that time has not stopped till today. The government ministries are getting sleepless only after a big incident. The same happened in Sonepat and Panipat in the case of deaths due to poisonous liquor.
It has been learned that illegal liquor was being made in the bottling plant of Naina village in Sonepat and the police had no news of this. After the death of the people, it got a clue or it should be said that the eyes of the police were opened. It is also being said that the illegal liquor business is booming around the industrial areas of Haryana. Here in the middle of the dense population, by making illegal liquor, they sell the labourers and poor sections at cheap prices. People drink without knowing whether alcohol is poisonous and the result is death.
