Patna: When Bihar CM Nitish Kumar reached the home district to unveil a statue, people created a lot of ruckus in front of him. By stopping the DSP's car, people told the CM how an attempt was being made to prove the murder of a young man a suicide in the police working style.

On Saturday, the CM reached Ekangarsarai for the unveiling of the statue of the Late Ramnandan Prasad Singh alias Rambabu at Ram Bhavan. National President of Janata Dal-United Rajeev Ranjan alias Lalan Singh was also present there along with Rambabu's grandson and State Advocate General Lalit Kishore. Here in front of the CM, people started a fierce ruckus. The protestors carried placards accusing the police of working in a murder case. People demanded action on the matter. Due to the uproar, there was chaos at the venue.

A month ago, 25-year-old Nirmal Kumar Bharti alias Zila, son of Abhicharan Paswan, was murdered and the body was hanged from a tree in the village itself. The family has alleged that the case has been hushed up by giving the murder the form of suicide. Due to this, the family created a ruckus in the program, due to which CM Nitish Kumar's convoy had to face problems.
