The Muslim community across the world is celebrating Eid-al-Adha, which is also known as Bakr eid. Its ritual involves sacrificing an animal, mainly Goat, in the name of Allah.
Well, its been quite some time trying o explain people, not to kill an animal, the results were always disappointing.
However, thanks to some thoughtful individuals who consider humanity above any religion. A bakery owner in Lucknow recently set an example before the world. On the occasion of Eid, he made and sold cakes with the images of a goat. With this act, he preached love and humanity to the world.
He preached a message that we could cut a cake and celebrate Bakra Eid, instead of cutting a goat or a sheep or any other animal for that matter.
A lot of People, inspired by him, have decided to cut cakes instead of goats on Eid.
Yesterday, the High Court of Uttarakhand banned the sacrificing of goat sheep or any other animals in front of the temple of the Hindus.
The court said that the animals should not be murdered in the open. Rather they thought to be slaughtered only in the slaughterhouses and their blood should not flow in the open drains.
