People have won a landslide victory in the council elections: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy

On the YSRCP securing an unprecedented victory in the MPTC ZPTC election results declared on Sunday and the victory of YSRCP even in the TDP bastion, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said at the Tadepalli camp office on Monday that "people have won a landslide victory in the council elections". " Our responsibility towards every family and every person has increased.” He thanked the people who won the MPTC and ZPTC elections.

He said that "YSRCP supporters were elected by people in 81 per cent of the panchayats and 99 per cent of YSRCP candidates won the municipal elections." CM Jagan said that 86 percent seats of MPTC and 98 percent of ZPTC seats have been won by YSRCP. He said that all the promises made in the manifesto have been implemented and some forces are trying to harass the government by spreading false propaganda.

Taking a jibe at the opposition parties, he said that they are not in a position to accept defeat. He was upset that the counting of votes had been postponed in the name of Kovid in the past as well. CM YS Jagan said that he is indebted to the people who supported the government.
