New Delhi: Experts have expressed concern over a large number of people roaming outside and tourist destinations and not following corona guidelines amid the decline in corona virus cases in India. He said the role of society in controlling infection is pivotal and people ignoring the danger.
Experts also believe that their faith in the government is important for changing the attitude of the people, but unfortunately people in the country have little confidence in political parties. He also says that giving vague information about the severity of infection and vaccination rate has also created a serious situation. It may be recalled that long lines of cars and pictures of crowds of people roaming tourist spots on social media and other communication channels have surfaced, raising concerns in many circles.
People have also stopped taking basic preventive measures in order to get their lives back on track. Senior epidemiologist Lalit Kant has said that not following the rules, is a people's apathy and who will be at God's will. Nimesh Desai, director of the Institute of Human Behaviour and Allied Sciences, says the negligence of not wearing masks and not following social distancing will cause loss to the general public.
