Bhopal: The undeclared power cuts in Madhya Pradesh have become a problem for the Kamal Nath government in the province. While the government is claiming that power availability is higher than demand, the public is unable to respond satisfactorily to undeclared power cuts. The Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha (Bhajyumo) has sent lanterns to Congress President Rahul Gandhi and CM Kamal Nath through the post to protest against undeclared power cuts.

It is worth mentioning here that the incidents of undeclared power cuts over the past few days have been questioning the state government. State Health Minister Tulsi Ram Silavat and then Energy Minister Priyavrat Singh have also lost power during their meetings in Indore. On the other hand, there have been continuous complaints of undeclared power cuts from various cities in the state to towns and villages.

There are many parts of the state where electricity is getting lost more than once a day. Never the power gets gulp for five minutes so never for 15 minutes. There is a clear direction from the government to the authorities that if the reform work is carried out, or if the electricity goes out for some other reason, the people of that area should be informed in advance, but that is not happening.
