Bhopal: A flood-like situation has grown in many parts of the country after heavy rains. The MET department has issued a warning of heavy rainfall in several districts of the state on Tuesday i.e. even today. The MET department has issued a yellow alert over the rain and also expressed the possibility of lightning in many places. The MET department has advised people to avoid sky disasters.
The cities for which the Madhya Pradesh MET department has issued an alert may receive about 115.5 ml of rainfall. The cities which are likely to receive heavy rainfall include Bhopal, Jabalpur, Narmadapuram, all the districts of the Narmadapuram division as well as Satna, Ratlam, and Jabalpur, Gwalior, Shivpuri, Sheopur, Sagar, Damoh, Panna, Anuppur, Dindori. Let us know that heavy rain has been going on for the past few days in many places including the capital Bhopal. Dams have been opened in many places in view of the rains. The gates of Bhadbhada, Kaliasot and Kolar dams in Bhopal have been opened. Due to torrential rains in the capital on Monday, the waterlogging situation has arisen in many places.
The MET department has said that due to the manner in which the weather pattern has been formed in many cities of Madhya Pradesh, there may be heavy rain in the next 24 hours. Thereafter, in view of the overflowing of rivers and rivulets, the administration alerted the people living in the low-lying areas. Monday's heavy rains in many parts of Rajasthan have added to the problems of the people.
