New Delhi: A video of a rousing welcome to Delhi riots accused Shah Rukh Pathan) is going viral on social media. In this video, a crowd of supporters of Shah Rukh Pathan is seen shouting slogans in his support. Shah Rukh, who is under police protection, is also waving his hand and greeting the people.

 

According to information, Shah Rukh Pathan, the accused who pointed a gun at a policeman in Delhi's Jafrabad during anti-Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) protests, was given a rousing welcome in the area when he reached his home during his 4-hour custody parole on May 23. During this time, hundreds of locals standing on the roofs of the street and their houses also raised slogans of Shah Rukh Pathan Zindabad. The video of the incident is fast going viral on social media. The Delhi Police has confirmed the viral video. Shah Rukh was granted parole to visit his ailing father.  

During the Delhi riots, a video of the accused Shah Rukh Pathan had surfaced, in which he was firing at the policemen by pointing a gun. This video of the Maujpur area went viral on social media. In the Delhi riots, 53 people were killed and more than 700 people were injured. Government and private property were also badly damaged.
