Mumbai: An incident of assault has came to light while shooting for film director Prakash Jha's web series 'Ashram-3' in Madhya Pradesh's capital Bhopal. Bajrang Dal activists lashed out at workers during the shooting on Sunday. They forcibly entered the sets and clashed with director Prakash Jha. Not only this, they ran and thrashed the web series unit. The protesters also threw ink at Prakash Jha.

In fact, 'Ashram-3' was being shot in an old jail in Arera Hills. Meanwhile, Bajrang Dal workers rushed there and created a ruckus. They went inside the jail premises and ran and thrashed the staff of the web series team. Actress Swara Bhaskar has now been outraged over the incident. She said that in a new India, there is fear, she does not feel safe here. Swara is being trolled for this statement. People have even instructed her to leave Hinduism.

Swara tweeted, 'Shocking, embarrassing and completely incredible! No one in New India is safe... The culture of mob lynching has taken us to a point where anyone can be attacked for anything at any time! Frightening'.  Earlier, Swara had tweeted, 'Ashamed to be a Hindu!' Swara was trolled on social media after the statement.
