All the credit for the best music in the same movie goes to AR Rahman. Because of him, many songs of the movie are now heard all over the world. Rahman has openly discussed this particular movie. Much has been said in praise of Shah Rukh, then he has told stories related to the film. In an interview with a news portal, the singer says "This movie was considered very little. Everyone has trolled after release. But the effect of the film was as impressive as the country itself. Ashutosh's script, Shah Rukh's acting, everything was fantastic. The song with 'Yeh Jo Desh' was in the heart of the people".

Rahman also says that due to his movie many people left abroad and came back to India. Everyone made an effort to make their country great. He speaks about this "Many people came back to India from America and Europe and said that they will make the country great again. People blame us that because they came back to the country". Rahman said that due to this one movie, many people have had a profound effect on their minds. It was only a story to tell, but he had aroused a sense of patriotism at a different level.
