New Delhi: The voting for Lok Sabha election 2019 has been councluded and almost every exit polls predicted another term for Prime Minister Narendra Modi. The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday welcomed the results of the exit polls and said that the predictions reflected a huge positive vote for Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Reacting to this, BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao asserted that the people had rewarded the party for Modi’s good governance.

Rao told PTI, “The exit polls clearly show a huge positive vote for the leadership of Narendra Modi who has served the country with unmatched dedication. That people reward good performance has once again been proved by the overwhelming public mandate. This is a slap for the abusive opposition that made baseless charges and spoke lies.”
The poll of polls forecasted that the saffron-party led alliance could win 350 seats, with the UPA getting restricted at 110 seats.

On the other hand, opposition leaders including Congress’ Shashi Tharoor, Punjab CM Captain Amarinder Singh and Trinamool Congress supremo and West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee dismissed the predictions by the exit polls.
