New Delhi: The outbreak of scorching heat continues across the country. Unannounced power cuts are adding fuel to the fire in many states of the country including Delhi, Uttar Pradesh, Haryana, Madhya Pradesh. The shortage of coal is believed to be the main reason behind the power cuts in many parts of the country. Now not only the public, but businessmen and traders are also getting upset due to power cuts.

The Gurugram Industrial Association says that due to unannounced power cuts, a lot of damage is being done. Not only this, the association has demanded special power supply so that their industries can run. Along with this, the association has also demanded a cut in the fixed rates of electricity. Meanwhile, Union Home Minister Amit Shah has called a big meeting on the increasing power crisis in the country, which is going to start in a while. In this meeting, Energy Minister RK Singh, Coal Minister Prahlad Joshi etc. will participate.

On the other hand, the head of Gurugram Industrial Association JN Mangala said that, in these industries, the machines have to run without stopping. But due to power cut, the machines stop, due to which we have to bear the loss. He said, on an average, 11-11 hours a day is being cut. This has made it almost impossible to operate especially small units. He told that the association has been told that the power situation will be correct after May 15.
