The corona havoc continues to grow despite much efforts. Every state is making every effort to overcome the virus. But given the economic situation, lockdown has been relaxed in many states. Assam Health Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma said that a total of two persons including a person traveling from West Bengal have been found infected with COVID-19 in Assam on Tuesday. By adding these cases, the total number of cases in the state has increased to 44.

In his statement, the minister said that a person from Kokrajhar district had traveled to Cooch Behar in West Bengal, which has now come COVID-19 positive. Sarma said that the other person is a resident of Goalpara and since that person is in the control area, there is nothing to fear. Currently 11 infected persons are under treatment. One person has died and 32 people have been properly discharged from hospitals. Now after four days, this latest two cases have knocked in the state.

These companies preparing test kits for corona virus

On April 30, the report of five persons came positive. Four of them belong to Bongaigaon and one to Karimganj. Four persons from Bongaigaon had no history of contact with any coronavirus infected person in the state. It was told that 13,442 people have been tested in six laboratories in Assam so far.
