Fish, the low-fat high-quality protein is recommended by every doctor to increase the level of the nutrient in the body. Fish has filled with omega-3 fatty acids and vitamins such as D and B2, rich in calcium and phosphorus.
A recent research has been done to find that in the Great Lakes Region of America, human anti-depressants are being created in the minds of common fish.
Researchers came to know about the huge amount of these medicines in the brains of 10 species of fish found in the Niagara River.
This pipeline connects Lake Erie and Lake Ontario via Niagara Falls. Diana Agha researcher of Buffalo University of America says that the discovery of anti-depressants in the river has enhanced the environmental concerns.
These ingredients which are coming from the West-Water Treatment Plants in the river are getting accumulated in the fish's mind. This is a matter of concern.
According to the researchers, these anti-depressants can affect the eating habits of fish and many fish are not able to know until their predator is born.
However, researcher of the Aga Lab Randolph Singh says that these anti-depressants found in fish are certainly not a threat to these humans who eat fish.
