Srinagar: The people's anti-fascist front (PAFF) has released a video titled "Poonch Gun-Battle Day 1." This video is eight minutes. In this video, a Kashmiri terrorist is talking about the martyrdom of 5 Indian soldiers in an attack near Surankot on October 11. The video, shared on several channels on the Telegram app, shows a terrorist in the Kashmiri language narrating the incidents around October 11, the day the encounter began.

However, an Indian Army source described the video as a lousy method of publicity. The Kashmiri terrorist through the video claims that a patrol of Indian soldiers was resting in the forest. By evening 4 to 5 jawans also joined them. The soldiers decided to take a nap at 10 p.m. and left 2-3 people there. The soldiers on duty were taking a nap for the next few hours.

The terrorist adds that 'after an hour he went to see. Finally, three soldiers and those sleeping in the tent were ambushed.' He claims that all Indian soldiers except those who escaped from the tent were killed. It is unclear whether the escapees were shot or not. The video claims that two unidentified militants tracked an army patrol for 10 hours before ambushing their tent the next morning (October 11).
