Muzaffarpur: A complaint has been filed against BJP National President Jagat Prakash Nadda in the court of Chief Judicial Magistrate (CJM) of Muzaffarpur in Bihar on Tuesday. The complaint has been filed by Acharya Chandrakishore Parashar, a resident of New Area Sikandarpur in Nagar police station. This accused the mortal remains of former Uttar Pradesh CM and former Rajasthan Governor Kalyan Singh of placing the BJP flag on the national flag.

The same court has put the complaint on hearing and posted the matter on 24th September. In the complaint, Acharya Chandrakishore Parashar said that the body of former CM Kalyan Singh was kept in the Uttar Pradesh assembly building on August 22 to pay state honors. It was being telecast from news channels. The mortal remains of Kalyan Singh were said to have been wrapped in the tricolor.

In a mark of disrespect and demeaning the same national flag, JP Nadda put a party flag with the BJP's lotus mark on it. By doing so, the work of reducing the importance of the national flag and installing lotus on the tricolor was affected. This could threaten the unity and integrity of the country. Former UP CM Kalyan Singh passed away in Lucknow due to sepsis and multi-organ failure. He breathed his last at the Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGI) in Lucknow, the capital of Uttar Pradesh.
