New Delhi: Corona outbreak in the capital of the country is increasing rapidly. Due to which the number of infected people is increasing. Due to which a public interest petition has been filed in the Delhi High Court for strict lockdown in Delhi. In which the Government of Kerjewal has been requested to direct strict lockdown in Delhi.

After the increase in the number of infected people, Delhi Health Minister Manish Sisodia said that by the end of July, there may be 5.5 lakh corona cases in Delhi. The petition urged the Delhi government to consider setting up an expert committee of doctors, medical experts and epidemiologists to prepare a detailed plan of the plan to control the infection. The petitioners have urged that the lockdown be enforced, saying that the rate of increase in cases of infection was lower during the lockdown than previously implemented.

In the petition filed in the Delhi High Court, it has been claimed that the virus was allowed to open religious places, malls, restaurants and hotels by the arrival of people in New Delhi and the restoration of public transport service. The infection has spread rapidly due to which the number of daily reported cases of coronavirus has increased rapidly. The petition also claimed lack of adequate beds, ventilators, ICU wards and testing centres in hospitals.
