Ghaziabad : Former Uttar Pradesh Shia Waqf Board  Chairman Wasim Rizvi today (Monday) has left Islam  religion and accepted Sanatan Dharma (Hindu). Wasim Rizvi, who moved the Supreme Court seeking removal of Quranic verses, has now become a Hindu religion. Mahant Yati Narasimhanandgiri Maharaj of Dasna Devi Temple Shiv Shakti Dham in Ghaziabad, UP has initiated Wasim Rizvi into Sanatan Dharma, his new name will now be Harbir Narayan Singh Tyagi.

It may be recalled that before the conversion, Rizvi had said that it was Narasimhanandgiri Maharaj who would rename him. Tell us that Wasim Rizvi made headlines when he moved the Supreme Court seeking removal of Quranic verses. After which many minority organisations opposed them. This was followed by a heated controversy over Wasim Rizvi's book 'Mohammad'. A large number of Hindu religious leaders have welcomed Wasim Rizvi becoming a Hindu.

A few days ago, Wasim Rizvi also released a video in which he said that a conspiracy was being hatched to assassinate him. The fundamentalists want to cut their necks. He had filed a petition in the apex court against 26 verses of the Quran, which is why it is being done. A reward has been placed for killing them. Wasim Rizvi had not said that the threats say they would not give him a place to bury him in the cemetery. That is why he has said that after his death, he should be cremated according to Hinduism. Let his pyre be given to Mahant Yati Narasimhanandgiri Maharaj.
