In fact, the retail price of CNG in Delhi has been revised from Rs 43.40 per kg to Rs 44.30 per kg. The price of CNG per kg in Noida and Ghaziabad has been increased from Rs 49.08 to Rs 49.98.

The same increase comes at a time when petrol and diesel vehicles in Delhi-NCR were considering adopting a cheaper and cleaner option. But the increase in CNG prices could mess up people's budgets. In addition to CNG, PNG prices have also been revised from today. This was reported by Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL), which delivers Piped Natural Gas to CNG and households, in a tweet.

"CNG will save 68 percent over petrol and 50 percent against diesel if compared to it after revision of petrol-diesel prices in Delhi," IGL wrote in a tweet on the hike in PNG prices in addition to CNG, the domestic price of PNG in Delhi has been increased to Rs 29.66 per SCM from July 8, 2021. While PNG's domestic price in Noida, Greater Noida and Ghaziabad will be Rs 29.61 per SCM from today. State that as per the price notification by oil retailers, this is the sixth increase this month.
