Petrol and diesel prices spike up in huge rate..check rates inside

New Delhi: On Sunday,  Petrol, diesel prices became costlier, March 3, 2019, in New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Gurugram (Gurgaon) and Noida. In the national capital Delhi, petrol was retailing at Rs 72.07 per litre on Sunday, up 13 paise from the Saturday’s price of Rs 71.94 a litre, petrol prices in Mumbai, Kolkata and Chennai on Sunday, March 3, 2019, surged by 13 paise each to Rs 77.7, Rs 74.16 and Rs 74.84, respectively.

While talking about rates of Petrol prices in In Gurugram (Gurgaon) today saw the maximum jump as compared to all the four metro cities. Petrol prices in Gurugram jumped by 34 paise to Rs 72.28 per litre on Sunday, March 3, 2019, from Saturday’s retail prices of Rs 71.94 a litre whereas in Noida, petrol prices saw a little change on Sunday soaring up by a marginal 3 paise to Rs 71.53 per litre from Rs 71.5 on Saturday.

Similarly, diesel prices also went up in all the aforementioned cities -- New Delhi, Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai, Gurugram and Noida on Sunday, March 3, 2019. In New Delhi and Kolkata, diesel prices surged by 14 paise each to Rs 67.41 and Rs 69.2 per litre on Sunday from yesterday’s retail price of Rs 67.27 and Rs 69.06 a litre. Diesel prices in Mumbai and Chennai went up by 15 paise each on Sunday to Rs 70.62 and Rs 71.24 per litre from Saturday’s price of Rs 70.47 and Rs 71.09 a litre.

Diesel prices in Gurugram (Gurgaon) were up by 35 paise on Sunday to Rs 66.61 per litre from Saturday’s price of Rs 66.26 while diesel prices in Noida were increased by 6 paise to Rs 66.3 a litre.
