Crude oil prices in the international market are not fluctuating. Due to which fuel prices have not been increased in the domestic market. Due to this, there has been no change in the prices of petrol and diesel in the country for 21 days continuously. The oil marketing companies have cut diesel prices only once in October in the current month. According to Indian Oil's portal, diesel prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai and Chennai remained at Rs 70.46, Rs 73.99, Rs 76.86 and Rs 75.95 per litre respectively.

Petrol prices in the four metros remain constant at Rs 81.06, Rs 82.59, Rs 87.74 and Rs 84.14 per litre respectively. Petrol prices were slashed by 0.97 paise per litre in September last month in the country's capital, while diesel fell by Rs 2.93 per litre.
