NEW DELHI: Petrol prices have been on hold for the past two days, with no change in petrol prices for the second consecutive day. Diesel prices have been stagnant since July 13. On July 19, the price of petrol had risen by 8 paise a liter. Internationally, the price of petrol and diesel has remained stable due to the softening of crude oil prices.

On Sunday, petrol prices in Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, and Chennai have been recorded at Rs 73.35, Rs 75.77, Rs 78.96 and Rs 76.18 per liter. The price of diesel in the four metros is also stable at Rs 66.24, Rs 68.31 and Rs 69.43 and Rs 69.97 per liter as per the old level.

Petrol prices in Delhi have remained at a seven-and-a-half-month high. Earlier on November 29, 2018, the price of petrol in the national capital Delhi was Rs 73.24 per liter. On November 28, petrol was found to be trading at Rs 73.57 a liter. Internationally, WTI crude is up to $55.76 a barrel and Brent crude is up to $62.47 a barrel.
