Lucknow: Congress Party National General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra has once again hit out at the Central government in a tweet. Priyanka said the BJP government is raising the price of LPG every month. The price of petrol and diesel increases 60-70 times in 3-4 months, but the rate of sugarcane of the farmer has not increased for 3 years? She has urged the government several times before to increase the price of sugarcane procurement from farmers.

The Congress leader had also raised the issue last week saying that even after a regular hike in diesel and electricity prices for farmers, there has been no increase in the price of sugarcane in the last three years. Earlier, In a tweet, Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi said, "Prime Minister, there are only two types of 'development' under your rule: on the one hand, the income of your trillion friends is increasing. On the other hand, the prices of essential commodities for the common man are going up. If this is 'development,' it is time to send this 'Vikas' on leave."

Tell you that sugarcane farmers of Uttar Pradesh are getting the same price of sugarcane in the current crushing session as they have been getting continuously for the last three years. At present, there is no increase in its prices in the country's highest sugarcane-producing state. The opposition has been consistently raising the issue, but the government has not yet taken a decision on it.
