The prices of petrol and diesel in the country are still stable today i.e. Saturday. There has been no change in fuel prices in the country since July 18. Today is the 28th consecutive day that petrol and diesel prices have not changed. In the national capital, petrol is priced at Rs 101.84 per litre, while diesel is selling at Rs 89.87 per litre.
Consumers should have been relieved by the reduction in the retail price of petrol and diesel due to the reduction in the prices of the same oil and product, but the OMCs have decided that it is best to wait and see the disruption now, as crude oil prices are still swinging. However, looking at fuel prices, these prices have come to a significant halt after 41 days of increase in fuel prices in the current financial year.
